All of you are wrong. It was explained in several interviews that this song is about Gerard's highschool days. He only had one friend, a girl that he liked. Her boyfriend would take naughty pictures of her and Gerard was really upset by it. I don't remember the rest, but it is about Gerard and his life. Don't try to over analyze MCR's songs; they're mostly all about the bands life and intrests....

yeah i heard in an interveiw something about him wanting to do something with his life after september 11th and how he always used to see the world trade centers there and stuff...which sort of explains the "stolen from my eyes" part...and a lot of other parts too but thats the line that stuck out at me...mcr rocks!!!...
