the song's alot like the movie "monster" (the one with charliz theron) => the songwriter is 'empathizing' with manson, RE-humanizing him...but NOT trying to excuse what he did.
he's satirically pointing out that hating and detesting 'evil' people is only going to make things worse 'you don't care about how i feel, i don't feel it anymore' eg. evil only begets evil.
