This song is an apology...and it is loneliness. He describes perfectly how everyone at some point in time, hurts someone...possible, or that at some point we are alone at a time when we truly want company. Chester sings so amazing in this piece, the work fo a God...anyway, this piece describes how we all feel, cold...alone...tired...and we do not want to feel that way, but at some point it is inevitable. It is apologizing for pushing that person away and that the person learned their lesson...because now they are alone. From this point of view, it is saying...I'm sorry for hurting you.....and in the long run...what I did to you, is hurting me...a punishment to both sides. but the problem is, from this perspective, the person realizes there is nothing he/she can do to change that, and it hurts, and makes them feel cold. It is truly touching, one of the more mellow LP songs...but it deserves it's worth. 10/10...I love this song. The words describe the situation perfectly, and that is saying something.
