I think this song tells us to see the good in everything. Our world is full of pesimistic people but you have to follow a different path and see the good in people and situations. Don't get sucked into the negative way of thinking-stick to what you believe and it will eventually pay off. You'll regret your life and make alot of enemies along the way if you are mean and complain all the time.

No matter what your preacher and sunday school teacher told you. The song was written in a time when Rock and roll was EVIL, so it makes sense that one fo the more popular songs would be deemed satanic. but if you want to know for sure... reverse it yourself, do not trust anyone to do it for you.
